I just wanted to say again that it was an honor, a privilege and a pleasure meeting many of you this weekend.

and to say thanks to the house of danu folks for putting together such a magical experience, I still haven't quite come down to the normal world yet.

Bright Blessings

It was very nice to meet you too Mario, and all the new friends I made.

As for coming down to the "normal" world...may you never quite do so again.   Wink

I also want to thank everyone.  This was the experience of a lifetime for me.  Everyone was gracious, open, friendly, and accepting.  I agree with Mario.  I still haven't come down...and I'm glad.

When Alice came out from under the tree, she appeared to be the same as when she entered, but we all know that Alice would never be the same again.

I couldn't agree with Mario and Elaine more!
This Gorsedd allowed me to make a vitally needed human connection in my Bardic journey.  The meeting went far beyond anything I could have hoped for! And all the hard work of the HoD folks and others made this a magical and life changing event.
Brightest Blessings to all!
You remain always in my heart and memories.
Hope to meet again soon!

With all that went on at the gorsedd it will take us a while to absorb it all. Much of what we experienced was going on all around us, we experienced alot of it upon the edges of our awareness, retaining it somewhere behind our initial memory.  Much like the unfolding of our spiritual work, memories will be enriched as these secondary memories begin to blend with the initial ones. And we will never be the same as before, experience does not allow for that.
Candy and I arrived home a little after midnight to 2 very happy dogs (Fred&Ethel), and it took until 4:00am to unwind enough to get some sleep.
At about 5:30am it began to rain, over the next few hours the skies poured down 5 to 6 inches of rain. Trees swayed under the weight of the water, our brook rose high and fast, water issued up from the earth where subsurface springs became overloaded, the animal kingdom just waited it out. Once the rain slowed to a light sprinkle I went to our garden and found 9 ripe and ready tomatos, which I forced myself to bring inside unbitten. Grin
On Wednesday morning we went to check out the streams and creeks at the state park, part of the foot path had become a shallow stream. The flow of the creeks and streams had slowed to a vibrant, lively pace. The sound of the water blended wonderfully with the song of the birds, then the sun parted the clouds. Danu's welcome home party told me that the magick of the gorsedd had spread over the whole of Turtle Island, and that there is good hope that similar events can transpire here in the midwest.
