Ovate of Grand Yew Grove
House of Danu

Wil is Gorsedd Site Master and Master of the House of Danu Website as well. He is on the Council of 7 representing the Grand Yew Grove of Modesto where he serves there as an Ovate and instructor. Wil began down his Pagan path at age 8 when his mother was initiated Gardenarian and shared everything she knew and learned. Aspiring to know more he grew up a truth-seeker and study worm studying works from Albert Einstein to Alfred E. Newman.

As a teen Wil's mother repented of her witchy ways and headed back to the church with her children in tow. Wil took advantage of this time to get to know the Gnostic teachings of one Jesus of Nazareth only to find that those teachings were long since forgotten.

Nathrach-teine (Nathrach-tenu): Energy, leadership to overcome and master
After much time, theological study, chastising and a couple demon exorcism attempts Wil had had enough and moved on to more promising ventures. Wil again dug himself into science and the philosophical works of Albert Einstein adding to the ensemble those of Ralph Waldo Emerson, Ernest Holmes and others. For a short time Wil found himself at the United Church of Religious Science hoping to find his answers there.  However, truth-seeking could not take up all of a boys time so Wil took a break for what he calls, "The 80s Adventure."

Once the clouds of the 80s subsided and grunge rock took over Wil found himself bored and feeling useless. One day while in meditation gentle images danced before his mind; images of stone circles and phantoms in Avalon's mists. After several books Wil found himself on a message board asking many questions and starting many philosophical debates. Wil's life as a NOBOD had began and not long after receiving his first Bardic Gwers. Using his organizational skills Wil started up San Diego Grove an OBOD seed group
of 14 members where he was a Bard for several years.

Following college Wil found himself working as a network engineer, web developer and Internet programmer in the Dot Com era. Never did he realize that he could make such a large amount of money playing with a computer. When the Dot Coms bombed he had set aside a little money and walked out of the smoke to incorporate his first company. However, his career took all of his time and his spiritual life began to suffer. After several years, unable to promote and organize, San Diego Grove disolved in 2000.

In 2004 Wil was visited by his guides and called to a higher purpose. He was told that something awaited him and was in need of his talents. He moved to Modesto, California where he found a broken community and a broken organization. Wil became the co-founder and incorporator for The Association of United Pagans. The AUP is now a federally recognized 501(c)(3) dedicated to the growth of what are considered Pagan traditions, paths and it's 4000 plus members.

Wil stepped down as president of The AUP in 2008. His concentrations are now focused on his Ovate grade, forming a chapter of Americans United for Separation of Church and State in the central valley, Grand Yew Grove and the House of Danu.
