Taliesin
THE DRAGON RITUAL

This is the standard opening and closing ritual of the Taliesin.  The Central Working changes with the season on our ritual calendar.  Standardizing the opening and closing is intended to facilitate memorization so the ritual flows with power. Use call response until the ritual participants have it memorized.  Eventually, get to a point where the ritual elements are spoken in Scots Gaelic.
(The last lines in bold after each phrase is the Engllish pronounciation of the Gealic)

(Prepare sacred space. Light candle and incense.)
We enter from the West.

SAGE
(Default grounding)

Close your eyes.  When ready, enter your grove. You feel the Earth beneath you, and experience a bright light emerging from your feet and moving up your body.  It is a sparkling light of all colors.  As it radiates through your head you experience your entire being as a pulsating light. You are the strongest and wisest tree in your grove and feel the warmth of the Sun caressing your skin. You sense the other life forms making their habitat about you. Reaching in all directions, you feel the Sun’s glow on your branches and leaves. A cool breeze moves through you caressing every leaf in twig. You experience refreshing water being absorbed by your roots deep in the Earth, and pass up your body spreading through every branch and quenching every leaf.

SAGE

We now leave the apparent world to the world in between
In between the past and the future
In between the Earth beneath us and the vast Universe that surrounds us.
Within our sacred grove
This now is sacred time
This now is sacred space

By the power of star and stone,
By the power of the land within and without
By all that is Fair and Free,
We welcome you to this rite of
(state the name of the sabbat)
by the Taliesin

CASTING THE CIRCLE

SAGE

As we consecrate this circle, the apparent world subsides as we stand between the past and future, the sphere beneath us, and the vast universe that surrounds us, within our grove.  This is sacred space.  This is sacred time.  The elemental Bards will now cast our circle.

(From East moving sunwise.  The Bards will cast a circle where they stand, or move in a circle around the inner grove, consecrating with Air (wand, sword), Fire (incense, candle), Water (water), and Earth (salt, sand, soil).

UNWINDING THE CIRCLE

SAGE

(The Elemental Bards now unwind the circle)

See the colors encircling the Grove fade:
the Telluric green of Earth, the Lunar blue of Water,
the Solar red of Fire, the Astral yellow of Air,
and the Rainbow of colors of the Upper, Middle and Lower Worlds

Circle of color, circle of light, fade now into the mystic twilight.
As the light dies down, let it be relit in our hearts.
May our memory hold what we have gained
This ceremony of Taliesin is closed in the apparent world
May its inspiration continue within our being. 

(Extinguish light and visualize it spreading everywhere.)
