Evelie Delfino Såles Posch is Gorsedd Master of Bardic Arts. She is a sacred song singer/writer; recording artist; drummer; dancer; Tibetan and Kundalini yogini; sound and Pranic healer and practitioner, also going for her Reiki certification; choral director; storyteller; actress; music educator; independent scholar; and magical activist whose talents have flourished for over thirty-eight years, spanning the traditions of her ancestors and the progressive edge of ceremony, world music and dance today.

"Evelie was singing before she could talk," according to her mother, a radio and club singer herself. Evelie comes from a clan with a long line of musical history, and is based all over the world. One of her aunts sang at the Fairmont Tonga Room for several decades and even opened up for Dionne Warwick. Another uncle has a jazz band based in Hong Kong whom she met when the band was brought over to an Italian Hotel in Taiwan where she was singing.

In college she sang with the University of the Philippines Concert Chorus, the first ever to go abroad, and sang at college and university campuses, libraries, the Mormon Tabernacle, St Peter and Paul Cathedral in New York and culminated the two-month tour with performances at the Lincoln Center in New York and the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. Evelie performs with and directs Mahal, a kosmik-ethnik-ekstatik-trance-tribal fusion muzik ensemble; the Bodhi-Gaia Ensemble and Chorus which leads antiphonal spirit chanting and other devotional music; and the Spiral Dance Chorus and Band for Reclaiming's annual Samhain celebration.

She currently sings with the California Revels Chorus; Ya Elah (www.yaelah.com); Oakland Arts 1st Circle Singers (directed by members of SoVoSo); the Revels Solstice Singers; Dharma Rose; Pua Mele; and Voices of Nature Chorus for Jennifer Berezan's "Praises for the World". Evelie also sings back up for Jennifer Berezan, Suzanne Sterling, and collaborates with others such as Lisa Rafel, Luisah Teish, Stephen Kent, Linda Tillery, Melanie da More, Betsy Rose. She has "shared the stage" with Starhawk, Eve Ensler, Gloria Steinem, Matthew Fox, Tuck and Patti and countless others. She is a regular at Unitarian Universalist Sunday services in Berkeley and Palo Alto. Evelie loves community, web weaving and building and dedicates her life's passion of healing, compassion and bliss through music and sound, to her divine mother on earth, Divinia.

Evelie teaches Core classes for Reclaiming, and at Witchcamps in Vermont and California; Master classes in Women's Spirituality (at CIIS, Dominican College, The Center for the Divine Feminine, New College, and Holy Names); conducts play shops in chanting, drumming, ritual magic, movement and dance. She also teaches music in the public school system as well as in her private studio, Tara Hills Hearth.

Evelie founded Babaylan Emerging: Apprenticeship and Mentoring (BEAM) Program which offers a journey of exploring the indigenous spirituality of pre-Hispanic Philippines for today's Filipina courageous to step forward into her power and transformation. She facilitates satsangs, meditations, and creative workshops. As a spiritual healer, and intuitive counselor, she offers individual and group guidance for creating and developing the empowered and healthy spiritual Life one wants. 
She has co-led and sung at Techno Cosmic Masses (derived from the Sheffield, England work); has sung for the mayors of San Francisco, and Oakland of the past 11 years; has sung at festivals, fairs, handfastings/weddings, and other rites of passage.

Whether leading sacred ceremonies, healing, performing, or teaching, Evelie is passionately involved in bringing all beings to a timeless world of music and art as ancient as it is fresh today.
